April 2014
SESI Digital Gallery, São Paulo
The exhibition, which was the second edition of Play! on the SESI gallery in São Paulo, revisited the potential of the game before the rules of play were commercialized and the pixels dissolved to out blur our ability to see through its politics. It questioned the notion of “game” as cultural transformer, inviting six commissioned artworks to reimagine the rules of play and push the concept of “game” to what we want it to be in the future, in the hand of the user/audience.
